Could you be eligible for the Warm Home Discount?

The Warm Home Discount is an annual payment of £140 that many energy companies pay to eligible customers to help offset increased fuel costs over Winter.

How we work in residents’ homes

At South Seeds we have conducted hundreds of home energy audits to support residents to reduce their energy bills and stay warm in their homes. We regard it as a privilege to be let in to residents’ homes and we take that responsibility seriously. This is how our staff arrange and carry out home visits.

Working in collaboration with local organisations

What is an energy audit?

An energy audit takes 40 minutes and it happens in your home. Our energy officer will look at how electricity and/or gas is used in your home and how you can save energy and save money.

Robert, who lives just round the corner from South Seeds new office on Victoria Road, first engaged with South Seeds after seeing the new shop front and promotional A-board. He lives in a privately rented, sandstone Victorian tenement, which at the time of his initial engagement had single glazed windows and no central heating system.
