Wednesday evening, 4th April
Come and help South Seeds between 6.30pm and 8.00pm prepare Agnew Lane (just off Albert Road, Govanhill) for Spring sowing. We’ll be holding another FREE raffle with great prizes including EcoKettle. Look forward to seeing you. Hot drinks and biscuits provided!
What a busy month! We have been creating growing space across the Southisde of Glasgow in time for the growing season. Our CCF project finishes this month, however South Seeds will still be around. Give us a call if you would like to be part of our Spring Volunteer Group.
Help build raised beds
Come to Agnew Lane on Saturday 24th March between 11am and 3pm. Members of Govanhill Residents Group will be there too. We will be making raised beds and could do with extra help.
Saturday 25 February 2-4pm
Come and help South Seeds push wheelbarrows to finish the winter maintenance of the community garden at Agnew Lane. Hot drinks, snacks, shelter from the weather and a raffle with great prizes. See you there.
Woodchip, soil and compost
Thinking about getting your greenspace or window boxes ready for the 2012 growing season? We have piles of woodchip, soil and compost at Agnew Lane which you can help yourself to.
The growing space at Agnew Lane is doubled by volunteers and a path of beach pebbles is installed.
Referrals made to the Universal Home Insulation Scheme and G-Heat. The Southside is warming up!
Come to volunteer at Agnew Lane
Part social and part hard work, volunteers are invited to Agnew Lane Community Garden on Saturday 11th February from 1pm to 4pm to help with some winter maintenance.
