Woodchip, soil and compost
Thinking about getting your greenspace or window boxes ready for the 2012 growing season? We have piles of woodchip, soil and compost at Agnew Lane which you can help yourself to.
The growing space at Agnew Lane is doubled by volunteers and a path of beach pebbles is installed.
Referrals made to the Universal Home Insulation Scheme and G-Heat. The Southside is warming up!
Come to volunteer at Agnew Lane
Part social and part hard work, volunteers are invited to Agnew Lane Community Garden on Saturday 11th February from 1pm to 4pm to help with some winter maintenance.
All through September
Every Wednesday 6pm to 8.30pm – volunteers meet at Agnew Lane to learn to grow and help out.
3pm Storytelling and consultation at the Quadrangle – raised green area at the rear of the backcourts on Eskdale street, Albert road, Cathcart road and Dixon road.
Queen’s Park Recreation Ground – South Seeds will be running a stall with energy advice and food growing opportunities.
