Renewable Snapshot report published

Following on from South Seeds award winning Energy Snapshot Report, which documented house type, tenure, condition and where energy efficiencies could be made, we have published the Renewable Snapshot report which identifies renewable energy technology appropriate for the Southside of Glasgow and where it could be installed on a street by street basis.

This report prepared for us by Ricardo AEA, gives us a the information we need to promote renewable energy on the Southside of Glasgow. It shows where solar PV might work, it explains the difference between air source heat pumps and ground source heat pumps and looks at the possibility of district heating.
