South Seeds is looking for knitters and crocheters to help us decorate Queen’s Park station with knitted creations. Come along to one of our ‘knitting sittings’ to get involved and meet other local knitters.
Your knitted or crocheted work will be displayed at the station for commuters, by passers and everyday southside folk to see over this summer and autumn. Queen’s Park station is on the South City Way segregated cycle way, currently under construction along Victoria Road, and our knitted work will be along the theme of active travel.
If you would like to know more about this project, email us on info@southseeds.org or call (0141 636 3959) or drop in to the office between 9am and 5pm. Alternatively just come along to our next meeting. The next ‘knitting sitting’ is taking place at the South Seeds office (514 Victoria Road) on Thursday 4 July 11am to noon.
This project is support by the South City Way small grants fund administer by Sustrans.
