Growing a Greener Glasgow

New fitness sessions at the Croft

Start a new highly enjoyable exercise class outside at our beautiful community garden – the Croft. Spending time at the Croft on Queen’s Park recreation ground, surrounded by the abundant raised beds full of fruit and vegetables, gives most people a good feeling about life. Doing 30 minutes of fitness there, is a guaranteed buzz.

How we conduct home energy audits

We have made a short film about how we conduct home energy audits.

Celebrate the Harvest at the Croft

Come along to our first harvest festival at the Croft. Although it has been a difficult growing season the Crofters have done well in the sheltered Croft space.

Help clear up the croft and find out more about it

Everyone welcome to the volunteer session on Friday 13th March starting at 11am. For two hours, we will be clearing the ground and tidying up the site. Tea, coffee and biscuits available too.

Join us to celebrate this year’s harvest

Come to Queen’s Drive Lane community garden for a barbeque and opportunity to meet residents involved in building the garden on Tuesday 2nd September at 6.30pm.

Regular summer gardening sessions

South Seeds are running regular sessions throughout the week in the Southside of Glasgow. You don’t have to have any gardening or food growing experience to take part.

Community gardening volunteer required

Do you have 8 hours a week to give South Seeds and would you like to see a community garden flourish?

Spring gardening days soon

We will be posting regular gardening sessions here soon.
