The Climate Challenge Fund project has now finished. But South Seeds has opportunities for local residents to learn how to plant seeds. South Seeds top gardener, Robin Ashton, has been working with schools to plant up raised beds in playgrounds for a productive growing season.

Saturday 28th April 2-3pm

Come to Agnew Lane to learn how to plant seeds and seedlings into the ground. Hot drinks and great biscuits for all participants.

Agnew Lane gardening session 24th April, 7-8pm

Do come along and help with some gardening. We’ve still got potatoes to get in the ground, and if they’ve grown big enough some young peas and broad beans to plant out. No gardening experience required. Tea, Coffee and biscuits will be provided as usual and we’ll also be giving out some free seeds to any volunteers that would like some.
