South Seeds’ Energy Snapshot report has been shortlisted for the Design Impact Award 2014. Until 23rd October there is an exhibition of all those shortlisted at the Lighthouse, in Glasgow.

We can offer residents of Strathbungo, Pollokshields East, Govanhill, Crosshill and Queen’s Park an energy audit which takes about 45 minutes and on average saves most residents about £100 off their annual energy bills.

This year we built two new community gardens. We held events to celebrate the harvest with local residents and reflect on what had been achieved.

Come to Queen’s Drive Lane community garden for a barbeque and opportunity to meet residents involved in building the garden on Tuesday 2nd September at 6.30pm.

From the 1st of August South Seeds will be offering energy advice at Govanhill Housing Welfare Hub.
