At South Seeds we support the theory that more people benefit when resources are shared. This weekend South Seeds was part of a Radio Scotland investigation in to business models which involved sharing. Many third sector organisations and business have adopted the sharing model and the Business Scotland programme highlighted a number of these including South Seeds at 22 minutes in to the programme .
At South Seeds, we have enabled land owners to share derelict land, to avoid it becoming the site of antisocial behaviour and fly tipping. We have supported residents to come together and share their growing skills and experience, through regular growing sessions.
South Seeds has shared information about energy efficiency with residents and agencies by publishing the Energy Snapshot Report. We hope to share information about which renewables will work in the area soon.
