As part of International Composting Awareness week we are sharing our knowledge of composting on the Southside of Glasgow.
If you haven’t got a compost bin, we have made a film to show you how to build one which is ideal for the Southside of Glasgow and is big enough for a shared backcourt or community space.
Most residents in our area live in tenements, so we have created a How to share a compost bin in a tenement backcourt factsheet.
We have also created South Seeds composting manual which shows you how to get started and gives top tips about how to make composting work on the Southside of Glasgow.
If you live in Govanhill, Crosshill, Strathbungo, Queen’s Park or East Pollokshields and would like a compost bin or support to get composting, do get in touch with South Seeds.
